Jamie Yorke has been living an international lifestyle for more than 17 years, teaching in Hong Kong, Korea, and Singapore. Over the years, he has learned a lot about the unique lifestyles of children attending international schools. He decided to try his hand at being an author and started writing ctional short stories that showcase some of the many exciting opportunities and challenges that living abroad provides children. e international community refers to these children as TCK’s (Third Culture Kids), living in a culture that is di erent from their parent’s culture. Jamie can also relate to TCK’s on another level as he is a father to two young children attending the international school that both he and his wife work.

 

He loves living in Singapore, travelling, culture, and the

outdoors but more than anything else he loves his family. He is Canadian and his wife is Filipina. He is proud of his family and makes sure that although they are living in

Singapore that they spend plenty of time with their families in Canada and the Philippines. He wants his kids to be just as principled, caring, and knowledgeable as the children in his stories! His first set of stories are told through the lens of a group of five girls titled The Power 5. He is also developing a future spinoff series told from the perspective of a group of boys titled Braden’s Buddies. He enjoys writing these stories and hopes that you will enjoy reading them for years to come.
